XRP's $600B Market Cap Target: Filling Global Monetary Architecture Gaps

The Triffin Dilemma has plagued the global financial system since 1944. It's a structural problem that arises when a national currency serves as the world's reserve asset, requiring the issuing country to run persistent trade deficits to supply liquidity. This undermines the credibility of its currency over time.

The United States has been living with this contradiction for eight decades, and Jake Claver argues that XRP removes this tension entirely. As a neutral, non-sovereign settlement asset, it settles transactions in seconds at negligible cost, filling a gap in global monetary architecture that no existing instrument addresses cleanly.

Claver is watching the Japanese yen carry trade unfold, which could create conditions for stablecoin demand to become systemic. The GENIUS Act requires stablecoins to hold U.S. Treasuries as reserves, and expanding stablecoin supply would increase institutional demand for Treasuries. XRP sits inside this mechanism: Ripple's regulated stablecoin RLUSD operates on the XRP Ledger infrastructure.

The $10 price target follows from market cap mathematics rather than sentiment. With approximately 60 billion tokens in circulation, a $10 price would imply roughly $600 billion in market capitalization, exactly what Ripple's acquisition strategy is designed to capture.
