XRP's $6.50 and $222 Price Targets: A Technical Analysis
A fresh technical analysis of XRP's chart has sparked debate about its long-term price targets. Egrag Crypto, an independent analyst, recently posted a comparison of charting methods and arrived at two starkly different predictions: $6.50 and $222.
Egrag argues that while linear charts are suitable for short-term tracking, logarithmic scaling offers a better perspective on XRP's multi-cycle price action. He believes the latter method 'measures percentage change' and is more relevant to an asset like XRP that has moved from fractions of a cent to several dollars.
The primary measured-move objective in Egrag's framework is $6.50, while $222 remains an extreme outlier dependent on a logarithmic breakout across multiple market cycles. He emphasized that the two targets carry different weights and should not be treated equally.
