XRP's Four-Year August Curse: Can It Finally Break the Trend?
XRP is facing its toughest month yet as it enters August, a period marked by a four-year losing streak.
According to CryptoRank, XRP has finished every August in the red since 2022, with declines of 13.6%, 26.6%, 9.17%, and 8.15% in the past four years.
Crypto trader Zach Rector believes that XRP may fall below $1, citing historical data which shows that during U.S. midterm election years, XRP has recorded August declines of 5%, 23%, and 13%.
However, chart analyst ChartNerd notes that XRP is approaching its long-term ascending support line, which has held since 2020, and previous touches of this level have been followed by strong rallies rather than deeper breakdowns.
