XRP's Next Three-Year Window: A Make-or-Break Period for the Token
XRP's price has been on a rollercoaster ride since its record high of $3.84 in January 2018. In the past three years, it returned 2.1x and then 2.7x, but still lags behind its peak. The next three-year window will be crucial for XRP's future, with several events already on the calendar, including a presidential election and another Bitcoin halving event.
The CLARITY Act, which aims to split crypto oversight between the SEC and CFTC, is set to pass or fail by September 2029. If it fails, XRP could drift between $0.80 and $2.00, while passing of the bill and a subsequent bull cycle could propel its price to $4 to $7.
Ripple's plans for XRPL lending and quantum-resistant signatures will also play a significant role in determining XRP's future. If banks and funds start using XRP as on-chain collateral, the token could reach $10 to $20. However, this scenario relies on several conditions being met, including the successful implementation of XRPL lending.
