XRP's Q3 Comeback: A Historical Pattern Worth Watching
XRP's past performance offers a glimmer of hope for investors who have been bearish on the token in recent quarters. Historical data indicates that whenever XRP closes Q1 and Q2 with losses, it tends to rebound strongly in Q3.
This pattern has played out three times before: in 2014, 2018, and 2022. Each time, XRP suffered significant losses in the first two quarters but managed a remarkable recovery in the third quarter.
In 2014, for instance, XRP dropped 67.9% in Q1 and another 57% in Q2, only to gain 22.9% in Q3. The same pattern repeated itself in 2018 when XRP plummeted 77.7% in Q1 and then fell another 9.10% in Q2, but it rebounded by 24.4% in Q3.
The most recent example of this phenomenon came during the 2022 bear market. Despite a 59.4% decline in Q2, XRP managed to gain 44.5% in Q3.
