XRP's Quantum Shield: Key Rotation Feature Leaves Bitcoin Exposed

Researchers on the XRP Ledger have completed a quantum vulnerability audit of the network, revealing that just 0.03% of its circulating supply is at risk from future quantum computing threats.

This is in stark contrast to Bitcoin, where an estimated 35% of its circulating supply is vulnerable, according to Google's research.

The XRP Ledger's built-in key rotation feature allows users to swap their signing keys without moving funds, making it a more secure option for quantum resistance.

A validator on the network known as Vet conducted the audit and found that only two dormant whale accounts were identified as exposed, holding a combined 21 million XRP.
