Xryma Plc Announces Launch of Regulated Euro Stablecoin XrymaCoin
Xryma Plc has announced the upcoming launch of XrymaCoin (XREUR), a regulated euro stablecoin designed to work like money. The stablecoin will be launched on September 3, 2026, and is expected to provide instant issuance and transfer as a payment instrument.
The company's Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Nikogiannis (John) Karantzis, stated that XrymaCoin has been designed from the ground up to be unlike any other stablecoin. It brings together key features of the Paidby Mastercard multicurrency Open Banking, SEPA Instant, and the European Central Bank's T2 RTGS.
Xryma Plc is a profitable, EEA-authorised electronic money institution supervised by the Central Bank of Cyprus. The company has notified the Central Bank of Cyprus about its intention to issue XrymaCoin (XREUR) and has published its Whitepaper for the issuance of an Electronic Money Token under Article 51 of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR).
