xStocks Grants Voting Rights to Token Holders with Broadridge Partnership
The tokenization platform xStocks has partnered with Broadridge and Payward to grant voting rights to holders of its tokenized shares. This move is aimed at bridging the gap between traditional equities and their blockchain counterparts.
Through this integration, holders of eligible tokenized shares can now receive invitations to general meetings, review proxy materials, and cast their votes via ProxyVote.com. Access is managed through Web3 authentication, allowing investors to use their own crypto wallets instead of traditional user accounts.
This partnership expands Broadridge's corporate governance platform to service tokenized securities, bringing institutional-grade tools to the digital asset space. The solution ensures the digital distribution of shareholder materials and full process traceability using infrastructure already widely adopted across traditional capital markets.
