YZi Labs Invests Strategically in TermMax for Fixed-Rate DeFi
TermMax, a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol that offers fixed-rate borrowing and lending of cryptocurrencies, has received strategic investment from YZi Labs. According to an announcement on August 26, TermMax is building infrastructure for DeFi markets by providing on-chain financial market infrastructure. The company aims to fill the gap in credit management, risk transfer, and structured products in the DeFi space.
TermMax is a fixed-rate, fixed-term borrowing and lending protocol that operates on multiple Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible chains. It has been operational since April 2025 and currently supports ten EVM-compatible chains with over 60 fixed-rate markets and 40 strategy vaults. The protocol allows users to lend and borrow cryptocurrencies at fixed interest rates, providing a stable source of income.
YZi Labs has been supporting TermMax through its incubation program, Easy Residency Season 3 (ERS3), which provides funding and resources for promising DeFi projects. With this strategic investment, YZi Labs aims to further accelerate the growth of TermMax and establish it as a leading player in the DeFi market.
