ZachXBT May Reject Victim Requests from Countries with Poor Case Handling

Share

ZachXBT, an independent onchain investigator in crypto, has announced that he may reject victim-support requests from certain countries where case handling has been consistently poor. These jurisdictions include Canada, the UK, India, Nigeria, Morocco, Algeria, and Bangladesh.

The decision to reject requests is based on ZachXBT's experiences with case handling in these regions. He described them as 'the worst' due to their unresponsive agencies, lack of understanding of crypto flows, and inability to produce useful outcomes.

ZachXBT's role has been that of a public utility for victims of wallet drains, phishing campaigns, and exchange hacks who often reach out because law enforcement channels move too slowly or lack the tools to trace funds. His decision shifts this role from an open resource to a gated one.
