Zama Expands Confidential Vault Lineup to $40M+ TVL
On September 15th, Zama will open deposits into 16 confidential vaults on Morpho, including assets like USDC, USDT, AUSD, and TGBP. This expansion comes after the first vault, which went live in June with Steakhouse Financial, reached a total value locked of $40 million within seven weeks.
Zama's confidential swaps protocol will also launch on Ethereum, allowing users to swap between confidential assets without disclosing their holdings or strategies. This feature is particularly important for institutional investors and corporate treasuries that require confidentiality in their on-chain transactions.
The vaults are being curated by a range of partners, including Steakhouse Financial, Armitage by Wintermute, Flowdesk, RockawayX, and Bitwise. Users can access these confidential vaults through Zama's own app, with Utila, Zerion Wallet, and Yield.xyz expected to add support in the coming weeks.
Morpho co-founder Merlin Egalite notes that adding confidential vaults on Morpho is an important step towards scaling confidential DeFi efficiently. This development opens up new possibilities for allocators on-chain without changing their strategy, liquidity, or risk profile.
