Zama Token Listed on Revolut Across European Economic Area
Zama's native token, ZAMA, has been listed on Revolut across the European Economic Area (EEA), granting the privacy-focused blockchain project access to a fintech platform serving over 70 million customers.
According to Revolut, users can now buy and hold ZAMA in the main app or withdraw the token to a self-custody wallet. This move follows Zama's recent confidential DeFi deployments and its $121 million encrypted token auction in February.
Zama uses fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) to keep blockchain balances, transactions, and financial positions encrypted. The company has described FHE as an 'HTTPS moment' for the industry, comparing it to the introduction of encrypted web traffic.
