Zamanat Tackles GCC SME Financing Gap with $100 Million Tokenized Fund
Zamanat has launched a tokenized private credit fund targeting the SME financing gap in the GCC, which stands at $250 billion. The fund aims to raise up to $100 million and will provide much-needed capital to small businesses in the region.
The initiative is part of Zamanat's efforts to address the significant funding gap faced by SMEs in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. With a combined GDP of over $1.5 trillion, the GCC region has immense potential for economic growth and development. However, the lack of access to financing options for small businesses has hindered this growth.
By leveraging blockchain technology and tokenization, Zamanat's private credit fund aims to provide a more efficient and secure way of investing in SMEs. This innovative approach will enable investors to participate in the fund and earn returns while providing critical capital to businesses that need it most.
