Digital bank Zand has integrated Circle's USDC stablecoin into its UAE-based stablecoin infrastructure. This allows eligible businesses to use both Zand Dirham and USDC for payments, settlements, treasury operations, trading, and international transactions.

The integration supports the UAE's Digital Economy Strategy, which aims to expand the digital economy's role in non-oil GDP by 2032.

Zand's Dirham stablecoin is fully backed by Dirham reserves and operates on multiple blockchains. It is considered the UAE's first fully regulated multi-chain Dirham stablecoin.
