Zano Unleashes Hard Fork 6 Upgrade, Paving Way for Exchange Integration
Zano's largest network upgrade in its seven-year history is now live on mainnet. The update, known as Hard Fork 6, activated at block 3,833,000 and introduces Gateway Addresses that make it easier for centralized exchanges, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and bridges to integrate with the privacy blockchain.
The new addresses provide a single directly tracked balance and instant synchronization, making it simpler for services to manage Zano's UTXO model. This upgrade preserves Zano's existing strong privacy features while giving users who continue using standard addresses the same level of anonymity.
With Gateway Addresses live, exchanges, bridges, and DEXs can now use a more familiar account-style setup, reducing the technical requirements for integration.
