Zcash Price Breaks $510 Resistance as Network Sees Record Shielded Pool Activity
Zcash (ZEC) price has broken above the $510 resistance level as the network continues to see improvements in security and stability.
The latest updates, including a new shielded pool introduced with the Ironwood upgrade, have attracted significant user activity, with over 1.33 million ZEC moved into the new pool.
The Zcash Foundation's quarterly report showed healthy reserves of $48.7 million in liquid assets, with 78,986 ZEC valued at around $31.5 million.
Developers have been actively working on protocol development and engineering, releasing seven updates for the Zebra node software that addressed issues such as a mempool bypass problem and remote procedure call denial-of-service bugs.
