Zcash Price Rises Towards $900 as Analyst Warns of Volatility Ahead
Zcash has broken out of several key resistance zones and is now targeting $900, according to recent market analysis. The asset's price has consolidated a strong rally after breaking out of resistance zones at $570, $600, and $640.
Crypto analyst Crypto Patel mentioned that this breakout follows a similar pattern to the previous market cycles with Zcash in 2017-2018 and 2020-2021. The asset's price rose from around $22 to $900 before declining about 98% during the distribution period, and from $18.50 to $372 only to decline about 96%.
The current rally of Zcash started from the accumulation phase near $15.85 in July 2024, according to Patel. The analyst also referred to Grayscale's spot Zcash ETF, which started trading on NYSE Arca on August 25. This development provides a new market catalyst as institutional exposure becomes more accessible.
However, Patel warned that Zcash is now trading within a historically significant $850-$900 resistance region. RSI has also developed bearish divergence, meaning momentum has not fully confirmed the latest price expansion. For market participants, the $900 level has become an important technical threshold.
