Zcash (ZEC) has experienced a significant surge in price, reaching $1,023 and catapulting it to the 10th position on the market capitalization list with a value of approximately $16.96 billion.

This increase marks a 20% rise in just 24 hours and a staggering 94% growth over the past 30 days, with ZEC's market cap more than doubling in the last year to reach over $2.3 billion.

The token has seen a massive liquidation of leveraged positions, with around $36.6 million being wiped out in 24 hours, including $34.5 million in short positions.
