Zcash Price Surge Leaves $1,300 Target in Reach as AlphaPepe Gains Attention
Zcash (ZEC) has seen a significant price surge in recent weeks, pushing its value above $1,200. However, after a violent September rally, profit-taking hit, and ZEC retreated to around $1,125-$1,140 on September 8. This leaves the $1,300 target within reach, as it's only about 14%-16% above current levels.
The rising demand for privacy has contributed to Zcash's price increase. Shielded pools now hold about 28.8% of issued ZEC, and shielded transactions represent around 58% of daily activity. However, buyers chasing the next big move are looking beyond an established asset like Zcash.
AlphaPepe (ALPE) is one such alternative that's gaining attention before its public market price discovery. With a presale price of $0.02931 and over $2.6 million raised, ALPE has secured four CEX partnerships and carries a BlockSAFU 10/10 audit and a Coinsult audit. Its AI DEX, AlphaSwap, is live and scans token contracts for retail traders.
The FOMO (fear of missing out) around ALPE's presale and upcoming launch in Q1 2027 has led to its inclusion on 100x watchlists. A 100x move from the current price would put ALPE at $2.931, making it an attractive option for aggressive retail traders.
