Zcash Shielded Transactions Top 3.29M as Price Holds Firm Above EMA
Zcash's shielded transactions have surpassed 3.29 million as its price remains firm, refusing to give up technical footing.
The data from ZecHub dashboard shows that the cumulative shielded transactions across Sapling and Orchard pools have reached this milestone, while the Zcash price is trading around $493 above its 200-day EMA and holding a rising trendline.
Sapling remains the dominant pool by cumulative activity, with 2,070,024 transactions, or 1,764,256 after spam filtering. However, Orchard has been catching up quickly since its introduction around block height 1,725,696 during the NU5 upgrade, accumulating 1,221,009 transactions, including 1,105,478 after spam filtering.
The trajectory of Orchard's activity matters, initially jumping sharply before settling into a steady upward climb. The raw numbers also reveal that not all activity carries the same weight, with Sapling having a 305,768 transaction gap between its unfiltered and filtered totals, representing roughly 14.8% of cumulative activity.
