Zcash Soars 25% as Grayscale Proposes Groundbreaking Spot ETF
Zcash (ZEC) surged 25% to $792.90 as Grayscale submitted its fifth amendment to convert the existing Zcash Trust into The Zcash ETF, a spot ETF that directly tracks ZEC.
The proposed ETF, which would list on NYSE Arca under the ticker ZCH, aims to improve institutional accessibility and demand profile for ZEC.
Grayscale filed a sponsor fee of 2.5% annually and selected The Bank of New York Mellon as transfer agent and Coinbase Custody as custodian.
The market is pricing in reduced regulatory risk and potential new capital inflows, fueled by the narrative that propelled Bitcoin ETFs.
