Zcash Soars Above $1000: Can Bulls Sustain Breakout Momentum?
Zcash's price has skyrocketed over the past 48 hours, breaking above the $1000 barrier for the first time since 2016. The token's sharp rally has pushed its price to an intraday high of $1,046, putting it firmly back in the spotlight.
The market data shows that derivatives have played a significant role in accelerating the breakout, with open interest climbing to $1.66 billion and short liquidations helping to fuel the rally.
However, this has also created an important divergence between organic demand and leveraged-driven momentum, with spot CVD remaining negative at around -387,000 despite recovering from its recent lows.
The Zcash price breakout above $1000 is bullish, but it remains vulnerable to sharp volatility. Holding $1,000 and turning the $850-$900 zone into support would strengthen the case for further upside.
