Zcash Soars to New Heights Amid Spot ETF and Mining Frenzy
Zcash has surged to its highest price since being listed on Binance, driven by expectations of a conversion to a spot exchange-traded fund and institutional expansion into mining.
The cryptocurrency's price climbed as high as $833.10 on Binance's USDT market on August 21, marking a 41.19% increase from the previous day.
The recent rally is partly attributed to Grayscale's efforts to convert its ZEC trust into a spot ETF, which would be listed on NYSE Arca under the name Grayscale Zcash ETF.
Cypherpunk Technologies, backed by Winklevoss Capital, has also secured Zcash mining equipment through a $33.33 million stock deal, accounting for about 18% of the Zcash network's total computing power.
