Zcash Surges Past $1,000 as Institutional Demand and Privacy Focus Drive Rally
Zcash ($ZEC) has broken above $1,000 in price as institutional and privacy-focused demand continue to rise. The cryptocurrency's strong bullish momentum is driven by growing interest in its privacy features, with Grayscale's Zcash ETF (ZCSH) reaching a record high.
The total shielded supply of ZEC has reached 4.86 million tokens, equivalent to 28.76% of the cryptocurrency's total supply. Approximately 3.86 million of those tokens are held in the Ironwood Pool, which features independent audits and quantum-recoverable note formats.
Zcash's price is approaching its next resistance at $1,058, with a decisive close above this level potentially extending the rally toward $1,322. The rising exponential moving averages reinforce the bullish outlook, but momentum indicators also suggest that a short-term pullback or consolidation may be imminent.
