Zcash Surges Past $1,000 for First Time in Decade
Zcash has made history by breaking above $1,000 for the first time in ten years. At press time, ZEC is trading at around $1,010 with a market cap of $16.64 billion. This significant milestone comes after a roughly 20% 24-hour gain and a staggering 96% one-month surge from about $485.
The rally has been driven by heavy short liquidations, which have added fuel to the rise. However, analysts warn that if ZEC falls below $1,000, it could trigger a pullback. Despite this cautionary note, some see $1,292 as a possible target for the token.
Zcash's impressive performance has put it among the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market value. Over the past year, ZEC has gained more than 2,300%, and two years ago, it traded at just $15.97. This represents an extraordinary 6,229% surge since then.
