Zcash Surges to Eight-Year High Ahead of NYSE ETF Listing
Zcash has reached an eight-year high of $814, fully recovering from its decline to $250 in June due to a vulnerability in the Orchard pool.
The coin's surge and increase in market capitalization to $13.74 billion were driven by the upcoming listing of the first spot Zcash fund, the Zcash ETF, which is set to trade under the ticker ZCSH on NYSE Arca on August 25, 2026.
Grayscale Investments has submitted the final documents to the SEC and Coinbase will serve as custodian for the fund, which holds up to 393,000 $ZEC worth more than $260 million.
