ZEC Leads Altcoin Rally with 47% Surge, Older Coins Outperform

ZEC led an altcoin rally with a 47% surge over 24 hours to $827.02, according to CoinGecko data.

The move separated ZEC from other altcoins and even outpaced Bitcoin Cash's 31.4% gain.

Beyond the top of the leaderboard, BCH rose to $299.49, ADA climbed 19%, DOGE and WBT each added 17.7%, and XLM rose 16.2%. LINK advanced 13.3%, while HYPE pushed up 11.9% to $81.50.

The rally was not concentrated in one sector or narrative, hitting payments coins, layer-1 tokens, a meme asset, an oracle network, and a privacy chain.
