ZEC Price Surges on Fortitude Mining's Expansion of Zcash Network
ZEC price surged over 6% on news that Fortitude Mining acquired a new Nebraska mining facility, expanding Zcash's infrastructure and improving network security. The acquisition includes land, buildings, and an electrical substation, increasing Fortitude's owned power capacity to more than 60 MW.
The expansion is seen as a long-term positive for the Zcash ecosystem, with greater mining capacity improving decentralization and security while lowering production costs for miners.
ZEC price continues to trade inside a symmetrical triangle pattern, which often precedes a sharp directional move. The immediate hurdle remains the $540-$560 resistance zone, where sellers have repeatedly capped recent rallies.
