zerohash Powers Stablecoin Payouts through Visa Direct Partnership

Share

zerohash has partnered with Visa to enable stablecoin payouts and prefunding through Visa Direct, its cross-border payment service. This integration will allow eligible Visa Direct clients to prefund accounts and disburse payouts in stablecoins powered by zerohash.

The partnership aims to increase the velocity of money movement and expand access to onchain money for businesses and recipients. zerohash's infrastructure will power the stablecoin capabilities, providing a regulatory and technical stack across dozens of blockchains and stablecoins.

According to Edward Woodford, Founder and CEO of zerohash, this partnership will 'extend access to onchain money into Visa Direct' and give businesses a faster way to prefund and manage liquidity across borders. Mark Nelsen, Global Head of Product at Visa, added that stablecoins are creating new opportunities for cross-border use cases.

The integration is designed to provide a more flexible way for businesses to manage settlement and move money across borders 24/7, while recipients can receive payouts directly in stablecoins.
