ZeroStack's Crypto Stash Collapses, Forces Token Reward-Dependent Survival
ZeroStack, an AI-focused company, has seen its $163.4 million digital asset stash collapse to just $15.2 million in value as of June 30. This decline is significant enough that ZeroStack's management must now rely on token rewards to fund operations.
The company reported a net loss of $61.3 million for the first half of 2026 and an accumulated deficit of $339.1 million. Its cash reserves stood at $2.6 million, with negative working capital totaling $600,000.
The digital asset markdown was an accounting loss, not a realized cash loss, resulting in a non-cash fair-value loss of $82.5 million. ZeroStack's treasury is predominantly composed of the AI-focused 0G token, with 75.1 million tokens recorded at a cost basis of $163.33 million and fair value of $15.17 million.
