Zhuo'er Shifts Shorting Strategy from ETH to BTC Amid Market Cycle Analysis
Jiang Zhuo'er, founder of Bit.cc Mining Pool (B.TOP), has made an interesting shift in his investment strategy. In a recent post, he stated that he will no longer be shorting Ethereum (ETH) but instead plans to short Bitcoin (BTC). This decision is based on his analysis of the current market cycle.
Zhuo'er believes that MicroStrategy's accumulation of Bitcoin has slowed down and may not increase for a long time in the future. Meanwhile, BitMine continues to buy ETH, which he sees as a positive sign. Additionally, the development of Relative Wallet Address (RWA) suggests that this bear market cycle may repeat itself.
In the last cycle, the lowest point for ETH was on June 18, 2022, at $881.56, while BTC reached its low on November 21, 2022, at $15,476. Zhuo'er is projecting a similar scenario this time around, with ETH potentially hitting its lowest point on June 6, 2026, at $1,505.68.
The key difference between the two cycles, according to Zhuo'er, is that BTC has already broken below its uptrend channel, while ETH remains near the lower edge of its uptrend channel. This led him to decide to short BTC instead of ETH in this round.
