Zimbabwe SEC Admits 7 Fintech Projects to Regulatory Sandbox

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe (SECZ) has admitted seven fintech projects to its regulatory sandbox, signaling growing interest in blockchain-based instruments for capital markets.

The approved participants include Zimbabwe Entrepreneurship Exchange, Ndarama Standard, Questview Brokers, Crowdaxe Capital, Procode Platforms, Financial Securities Exchange, and Colmin Resources Zimbabwe.

The tokenization-heavy cohort accounts for four of the seven projects, reflecting a focus on using blockchain-based instruments to broaden access to capital markets and bring assets into regulated investment structures.
