zkSync Era Snaps Up Sub-Cent Transaction Crown

zkSync Era has taken the lead in achieving sub-cent transactions, surpassing its competitor Starknet. The network's Airbender prover enables transfers near $0.0001, while Starknet transactions cost between $0.002 and $0.01.

ZkSync Era's TVL is lower than Starknet's, with independent trackers placing it between $100 million and $200 million in mid-2026, compared to Starknet's estimated range of $300 million to $600 million.

Despite this, zkSync Era has reported more than 700 million cumulative transactions across its network. Both networks completed their token airdrops in 2024, with STRK arriving in February and ZK token being distributed in June.
