Zonda Wallet Awakens Amid Court-Ordered Freeze, Over $1.5 Million in XRP Moved
The case of the Zonda wallet has taken another dramatic turn, with over $1.5 million worth of XRP moved on August 22, 2026. According to a joint investigation by Kancelaria Prawna Skarbiec and money.pl, the wallet had been dormant for two and a half years until someone turned the key for the first time since April. The transaction was made while an Estonian court was already forbidding Zonda from disposing of its assets.
The wallet's history is marked by a series of transactions that do not resemble normal account management, with funds being moved in and out without any clear pattern. In fact, the balance returned to exactly one million XRP after each transaction, suggesting a bookkeeping reconciliation rather than actual money management.
On April 7, 2026, Zonda's fortune made its last move towards this address, but it was not until August 22 that someone checked another route and took it. The pattern of test transfers in April was carried through to the end in August, with the operator avoiding marked doors.
