Zondacrypto Collapse Leaves Thousands of Customers Stranded Amid Regulatory Concerns

Share

Polish exchange Zondacrypto has collapsed, leaving thousands of customers unable to withdraw their assets. The crisis began in April 2026 when users reported withdrawal delays and frozen customer balances.

The exchange's website went offline on April 23, and the company-linked token ZND lost nearly all its market value. According to Polish prosecutors, losses exceed 350 million zlotys (approximately $96 million).

Founder Sylwester Suszek has been missing since March 2022, while his successor Przemysław Kral is reportedly abroad. Authorities have not confirmed whether he is missing or in hiding.
