ZondaCrypto Founder and Successor CEO Disappear as Exchange Collapses
ZondaCrypto, a major cryptocurrency exchange in Eastern and Central Europe, has effectively collapsed. The exchange's founder, Sylwester Suszek, disappeared about four years apart from his successor CEO, Marian Brzolek.
The website is down, and the ZND token has lost 99.9 percent of its value since April. Withdrawal delays have followed, intensifying suspicions over the exchange's operations and fund management.
Suszek was known as a 'crypto king' for his flashy lifestyle, including owning Porsches and Ferraris. He disappeared after meeting Brzolek at a fuel storage facility in Chelmza, Poland, in March 2022.
Brzolek was later indicted on charges of kidnapping and money laundering but has also now disappeared. After Suszek's disappearance, his close associate and lawyer Przemyslaw Kral took over management and changed the exchange's name to ZondaCrypto.
