Zondacrypto Founder Vanishes, Leaving Trail of Missing Funds and Unresolved Reserve Claims

Zondacrypto's collapse has led to both financial and criminal investigations after its founder disappeared and former CEO remained abroad. The exchange, once one of Central and Eastern Europe's largest, left thousands of customers unable to access funds.

Founder Sylwester Suszek vanished on March 10, 2022, after traveling to a meeting in Czeladź, Poland. His family received messages claiming he had been kidnapped, with the sender demanding Bitcoin for his release.

The investigation into Suszek's disappearance has never confirmed what ultimately happened, leaving his fate unresolved after more than four years.
