Zondacrypto's Rogue CEO Responds with AI-Generated Apology
The trustee of the bankrupt zondacrypto exchange has made contact with its chief executive, Przemysław Kral. Kral replied within a week in a 28-page letter that looks like it was written by a large language model.
The letter is repetitive and generic, citing 'not in a position' twenty-two times, the prosecutors' address twenty-five times, and the accountant's name fifty-one times. It does not contain any provision of law or reference to actual contracts.
Kral claims that he cannot access the servers, cloud, data repositories, or backups due to Polish authorities controlling them as part of a criminal investigation. He also states that some information is covered by secrecy and that clients should apply to the accountant and prosecutors for data.
