$102 Oil Prices Don't Boost Dollar as Euro and Yen Gain Ground

The U.S. dollar saw some recovery on Thursday after a period of losses due to rising oil prices and global bond yields.

The euro remained near two-week highs, anticipating an expected rate hike by the European Central Bank (ECB), which is set to raise rates for the second time since late February.

Oil futures climbed 1.5% to $102.72 per barrel due to reduced energy flow from the Gulf amid tensions between the U.S. and Iran, but this didn't bolster the dollar as a safe-haven currency.
