£50k Reward Still Available to Solve 23-Year-Old Mystery of Martin Joyce's Disappearance
Martin Joyce was last seen at the Bank of England pub in Ancoats on September 23, 1999. The 29-year-old from Gorton had gone to the pub with no intention of staying long.
Seventeen years later, police dug up the cellar of the pub after receiving 'credible information' that Joyce had been killed in a fight and buried there.
No remains were found during the two-week excavation. The case remains unsolved and is now with GMP's cold case unit.
A £50,000 reward is still available for information leading to arrest and conviction.
