ACT Credits Business-Friendly Reforms for Boost in New Zealand's Business Confidence

New Zealand has seen a significant boost in business confidence, according to an ANZ survey that shows a 19-point jump in July. ACT Leader David Seymour credits this growth to changes implemented by his party, which he claims have made it easier for businesses to hire, invest, and compete.

Seymour points out that successful businesses are key drivers of economic growth, employing people, investing in communities, and developing new products. He argues that Labour's policies would harm the economy, instead advocating for a greater ACT presence in government to unlock New Zealand's potential.

The ACT party has implemented various reforms since taking office, including repealing Fair Pay Agreements, restoring 90-day trials, and reforming employment law. They have also replaced the broken Holidays Act and overhauled health and safety law, allowing small businesses to focus on critical risks rather than paperwork.
