AHI Carrier Expands NZ Presence with Energy-Efficient HVAC Solutions

AHI Carrier is expanding its presence in New Zealand to meet growing demand for energy-efficient HVAC solutions. The company, which invented modern air conditioning in 1902, is investing heavily in people and infrastructure.

The move aims to help Kiwi companies achieve their decarbonisation goals by providing smart and efficient HVAC technologies, including the Carrier AquaSnap 61AQ heat pump. This product is a key part of AHI Carrier's strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% in line with New Zealand's 2030 target.

The company has also introduced new products for residential customers, such as the Ambi by Carrier heat pump, which offers smaller, quieter, and more efficient heating solutions. In addition, AHI Carrier is strengthening its local market presence through a multi-million-dollar investment in facilities, including an upgraded Auckland head office with a training centre, showroom, and Totaline store.

AHI Carrier's new Wellington facility has additional warehouse and logistics capacity to meet regional demand along with a state-of-the-art showroom, training centre, and event space. The company is also launching a Partner Authorised Installer network aimed at strengthening collaboration with contractors and installers across the country.
