Air Canada has introduced new bedding and wellness kits on its international flights as part of a 'Cabin Recovery System' aimed at reducing the effects of air travel on passengers. The system addresses five physiological problems encountered in flight: reduced pressure, dry air, body temperature fluctuations, disrupted sleep, and physiological stress.

The airline has collaborated with Canadian companies Hunter Amenities and Sahajan to develop the new products. Each item is designed to mitigate one of these disruptions, such as the new bedding that disperses body heat better and limits temperature swings during sleep.

The kits vary by cabin class: Signature Class includes a recycled cotton bag, striped socks, and an adjustable mask with Sahajan skincare products; Premium Economy features a neoprene mask, 3M earplugs, and knitted socks; and Economy Class receives a polar fleece blanket.
