Air New Zealand's Economy Fare Shines on Trans-Tasman Route

Air New Zealand's Airbus A321neo on the route from Sydney to Auckland offers an all-inclusive economy fare called 'The Works,' which includes a checked bag, meal with drinks, seat selection, and access to in-flight entertainment.

The flight attendants are polite and friendly, but they do not tolerate any nonsense. One attendant even chastised a passenger for taking a photo of her.

The airline's sustainability policy aims to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. The 'Works' fare costs $40 more than the basic economy class fare, which starts at around $600 return.

Air New Zealand has been working under tough financial and competition conditions, but its economy class offering is considered better than most, deserving of support.
