Air NZ Introduces Luxury Bunk Beds for Economy Flyers

Air New Zealand has introduced a new innovation for long-haul flights - SkyNest bunk beds. Available from December, SkyNest promises to provide comfort for economy travelers on flights from Auckland to New York.

Tom Goward from Flight Hacks has praised the new SkyNest concept, stating 'It's actually genuinely quite comfortable.' The SkyNest bunk beds will be available for a four-hour session at a cost of $495. This could potentially challenge competitors like Qantas on long-haul routes.

Air New Zealand may also consider integrating frequent flyer points into the booking process for SkyNest sessions in future developments.
