Airlines With Extra Legroom Economy Seats Outshine Premium Economy Options
Premium economy has become increasingly popular in recent years as it offers a more comfortable experience than economy without breaking the bank. However, prices for premium economy have skyrocketed in some markets due to high demand and limited supply.
Some airlines offer an alternative solution for travelers who want extra legroom without shelling out for premium economy. Designated sections of economy seats with added legroom are now available on several carriers.
JetBlue Airways is one such airline that offers excellent legroom, albeit in limited scale. Its EvenMore product features a seat pitch of 35 inches and wider seats than many other airlines. While it doesn't offer the full premium economy experience, prices for JetBlue's EvenMore are often lower than those on competitors.
Air New Zealand is another airline that has innovated in economy with its extra legroom seats available on much of its widebody fleet. The Economy Stretch seats feature a pitch of 35 inches and are available on several routes, including transpacific flights where premium economy can become expensive.
