Albanian Exchange Rate Declines Amid Global Turbulence

The foreign exchange rate in Albania has been experiencing a decline over the past week. According to recent data, one US dollar is now bought for 78.7 lek and sold for 79.8 lek. The euro has also seen a significant drop, with one unit being exchanged for 92 lek on purchase and 92.7 lek on sale.

The British pound has followed a similar trend, with one pound being bought at 107 lek and sold at 108 lek. Other currencies such as the Swiss franc and Canadian dollar have also seen a decline in value.

In related news, the Montenegrin government has further reduced excise duties on fuels, while there are over 13 thousand pending insurance claims in the country.
