Albanian Lek Continues Downward Spiral

The Albanian lek has seen significant decline against major foreign currencies in recent days. According to the Central Bank of Albania, one US dollar is now bought for 80.2 lek and sold for 81.5 lek. This represents a further decline from the previous day's rates.

The euro also continues to fall, with one unit being exchanged for 92.4 lek on purchase and 93.5 lek on sale. The British pound has dropped slightly, trading at 107.5 lek for purchase and 109 lek for sale.

The Swiss franc and Canadian dollar have also seen declines, with the former exchanging for 98.9 lek on purchase and 100.3 lek on sale, and the latter for 56.8 lek on purchase and 57.8 lek on sale.
