The Albanian lek has continued its decline against major currencies in recent days. As of September 12, one US dollar is bought for 78.6 lek and sold for 79.7 lek. The euro also saw a significant drop, with a purchase price of 91.5 lek and a sale price of 92.3 lek.

The British pound has fallen to 106.2 lek for purchase and 107.2 lek for sale. Meanwhile, the Swiss franc is exchanged at 96.3 lek for purchase and 97.8 lek for sale. The Canadian dollar is also down, with a purchase price of 56 lek and a sale price of 57.2 lek.

The European Central Bank (ECB) raised interest rates to 2.5% last week, which may have contributed to the decline in currency values.
