Albanian Lek Hits New Low Against Major Currencies Amidst Inflation and Tourism Growth

The euro follows a similar pattern, with a buy price of 92 lek and a sell price of 92.8 lek. The British pound and Swiss franc also show significant decline in value against the Albanian currency.

The Canadian dollar is exchanged at 56.8 lek for purchase and 58.2 lek for sale, according to the latest exchange rates. This marks a continuation of the trend seen on previous days, with foreign currencies deepening their decline. The recent drop in value has been attributed to various factors, including tourism growth and increased imports.

Domestic inflation in Albania reached 3.7% in the second quarter, further exacerbating the situation.
